My Child’s Adventure is a joint project with my sister Desiree’ and our buddy Joe. The three of us have created a website where people can purchase personalized, interactive, animated digital storybooks for the special children in their lives. Currently, Desi and I co-write the stories and work together on the graphics. We may use guest writers in the future just for fun.

The first story we penned for that was a very simple one about a monster under a scared child’s bed. Why pick such a common theme? Because it’s a childhood classic that everyone can identify with. The story is filled with cute little life lessons like eating cookies in your bedroom not only makes messes – but attracts big, hairy, hungry, scary monsters who live under your bed!

Of course, in the end, the child finds out that the monster, our site mascot and friendly fuzzball whom we have named “Groovie”, is as afraid of the humans as they are of him! They form a friendship and Mom allows Groovie to live in the house as long as from now on they eat only at the table. Of course they do.

Isn't little Groovie Monster adorable? Who knew this little hairball would grow up to be a big famous mascot!
